Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Aperture CSS ("the Extension", "the Software"), a Chrome browser extension developed and distributed by Aperture CSS ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using the Extension, you agree to these Terms.

1. License Grant

Free Tier

We grant you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the free features of the Extension for personal or commercial use, on any number of devices.

Pro License

Upon purchasing a Pro license key, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use all features of the Extension, subject to the following:

• Each license key may be activated on up to 3 devices simultaneously
• The license is for your personal or professional use only
• You may not share, redistribute, sublicense, or resell your license key
• One license key is valid for one individual user

2. Payments & Pricing

• Pro licenses are sold as a one-time payment through our payment processor, LemonSqueezy
• Prices are listed in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes (VAT, sales tax), which are collected and remitted by LemonSqueezy
• We reserve the right to change pricing at any time; existing license holders are not affected by price changes

3. Refund Policy

To request a refund, use the refund option on your LemonSqueezy order confirmation page, or contact support@arshadshah.com. Refund requests after 14 days will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Refunds are processed by LemonSqueezy.

4. License Key Usage

• License keys are delivered by email after purchase
• You are responsible for keeping your license key secure
• We reserve the right to deactivate license keys that are shared publicly, redistributed, or used in violation of these Terms
• If your key is compromised, contact us and we will issue a replacement

5. Updates

Pro licenses include access to all future updates of the Extension at no additional cost. We are not obligated to provide updates on any specific schedule, but we aim to maintain and improve the Extension over time.

6. Intellectual Property

• The Extension, including all code, design, icons, and documentation, is owned by us and protected by copyright law
• You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the Extension
• Your purchase grants a license to use the Extension, not ownership of the software itself

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Extension is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Compatibility with all websites or browser configurations

Some websites may restrict the Extension's functionality through Content Security Policies (CSP) or other mechanisms. This is expected behavior and not a defect.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Extension, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Pro license.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Extension for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent the license validation system
• Share, sell, or distribute license keys
• Use automated tools to generate or test license keys
• Modify the Extension's code to remove license restrictions

We acknowledge that client-side license validation can be bypassed. We rely on the honor system and LemonSqueezy's server-side activation tracking. Abuse may result in license revocation.

10. Termination

• You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it
• We may terminate or suspend your license if you violate these Terms
• Upon termination for cause, you lose access to Pro features with no refund
• Upon termination, the free tier remains available to you

11. Third-Party Services

The Extension uses LemonSqueezy for payment processing and license key management. Your purchase is also subject to LemonSqueezy's Terms of Service.

We are not responsible for any issues arising from LemonSqueezy's service, including payment processing failures or service outages.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal proceedings.
